أكد الشافعي صالح رئيس نادي أسوان، أن فريق زهرة الجنوب هو الأحق بالمشاركة في البطولة العربية المُقبلة، نظرًا لأنه يُمثل محافظات الصعيد بأكملها في الدوري المصري الممتاز هذا الموسم.

وقال الشافعي صالح في تصريحات لبرنامج “البريمو” على قناة “تن”: “أحترم جميع الأندية الشعبية مثل الإسماعيلي والمصري البورسعيدي والاتحاد السكندري، لكن كل منهم يمثل محافظة واحدة”.

وتابع: “على عكس أسوان الذي يُمثل الصعيد في الدوري الممتاز، وهو الأحق بالمشاركة في البطولة العربية نظرًا لشعبيته الكبيرة في المملكة العربية السعودية وبعض الدول العربية”.

وكان الاتحاد العربي قد أعلن في وقتٍ سابق، أن البطولة ستقام في مدن أبها والباحة والطائف بـ السعودية، بمشاركة 37 ناديًا، في الصيف المقبل، مع تغيير اسمها إلى (كأس الملك سلمان)، وتبلغ جوائز البطولة أكثر من 10 ملايين دولار.

ووقع الاختيار على الأهلي والزمالك وطلائع الجيش للمشاركة في البطولة العربية كممثلين عن الدوري المصري، إلا أن المارد الأحمر اعتذر وفقًا للرؤية الفنية، وبسبب تلاحم المواسم الثلاثة الماضية وضغط المباريات المتتالي، الذي ترتب عليه إصابة العديد من اللاعبين.

Hoje, um mês depois da estreia de Bruno Peres, que veio da Roma (ITA) para substituir o jovem, é possível que muitos desses torcedores nem lembrem de Militão ao verem o time jogar.

Um dos segredos para o início animador do lateral-direito de 28 anos, que estava no futebol italiano desde 2014, com passagem também pelo Torino, é a versatilidade. Em apenas oito jogos no clube, ele atuou (bem) em três posições: fixou-se como titular da lateral direita, mas também foi escalado como volante e adiantado para a ponta.

– Nós consideramos que o Bruno Peres pode jogar na linha de quatro defensiva e na linha de meias. É um jogador de alto nível. É importante poder fazer essas trocas no mesmo jogo. Joga de lateral, de volante por dentro ou de meia por fora. Fico feliz por ele estar evoluindo, jogo a jogo, e ainda não vimos a melhor versão do Bruno Peres – disse Diego Aguirre, muito satisfeito com o reforço.

Domingo, contra o Ceará, Bruno Peres jogou a metade final do segundo tempo na ponta direita e apareceu na área duas vezes para finalizar. Errou a primeira, mas marcou o gol da vitória por 1 a 0 na segunda. Foi a solução encontrada pelo técnico uruguaio para suprir a ausência de Everton, que se machucou. Régis entrou na lateral direita e Rojas foi para a ponta esquerda. É uma das opções para o jogo contra o Fluminense, às 16h de domingo, no Morumbi, e para o período de aproximadamente três semanas em que Everton estará fora.

– Foi o que falei na minha apresentação: independentemente da função que o professor me colocar para fazer, vou tentar fazer o melhor e ajudar o São Paulo. Foi importante, fiquei feliz por poder ajudar – disse o camisa 15.

No jogo de ida contra o Colón (ARG), pela Copa Sul-Americana, Bruno jogou no meio de campo e compôs dupla de volantes com Hudson. Ele começou jogando outras quatro vezes, sempre como lateral, todas depois da saída de Militão (vitórias contra Sport, Chapecoense e Ceará, além do empate com o Paraná). Nas vitórias sobre Cruzeiro, Vasco e Colón (jogo de volta, quando foi um dos poupados), entrou na etapa final, também como lateral.

– São poucos jogos, espero poder dar mais alegria, fazer mais gols e escrever uma história linda aqui no São Paulo. Foi para isso que voltei, por isso que a gente está aqui. Tem tudo para ter um final feliz – emendou o ex-santista, ainda eufórico com o primeiro gol pelo Tricolor.

Claydon was sent in below Graham Onions, who was dropped in the slips by Nottinghamshire after they claimed the extra half hour on the third evening.Resuming on 18, with the total on 203 for 9, Claydon took 10 off Andy Carter’s opening over today. Graeme Swann has been named as England’s Most Valuable Player over the winter, according to the ranking system used by the Professional Cricketers’ Association (PCA). Swann’s 10-wicket haul against Sri Lanka earlier this month helped England to a first Test win in five matches and took his tally to 39 wickets in all formats.Swann held off Kevin Pietersen, who scored 151 as England levelled the two-Test series with Sri Lanka at 1-1, to win the FTI MVP award, which includes a cheque for £2,000 to be given the charity Lowe Syndrome Trust. Swann has previously been England’s MVP twice before – after the tours to South Africa and Bangladesh in 2009-10 and following the 2010 English summer.The draw in Colombo – in which Swann finished with match figures of 10 for 181 – also ensured England retained their No. 1 Test ranking for a while longer.”I’m delighted to have won the FTI MVP after what has been a tough winter and it’s obviously great that we’re still number one too,” Swann said. “It is nice to win any award but it is especially pleasing to win one where you are compared to your team-mates on hard statistics.”Losing the three Tests against Pakistan was a real blow, but we picked ourselves up in the ODIs and again after the defeat in Galle to prove there’s plenty of fight in this team. Recebeu a confiança de Jair e fez sua melhor partida pelo Corinthians contra o Flamengo, no empate sem gols pela ida da semifinal da Copa do Brasil. Consolidou-se na equipe e deve iniciar a partida deste domingo, às 19h, contra o Sport, pela 25ª rodada do Brasileirão.

– Eu não gosto de ter uma zona de conforto, porque eu me considero um jogador de alto nível. Tenho que manter a paciência para aproveitar quando tiver oportunidade – disse Léo Santos, em entrevista recente.

Até pela idade de 19 anos, Léo Santos tem amizade com vários garotos que ainda estão na base do Corinthians. Ele espera que sua chance na equipe principal possa servir de exemplo para os jovens no clube.

– O Corinthians tem dado oportunidades para os jogadores mais jovens nos últimos anos, e isso é bom para eles verem que podem em breve estar no elenco profissional – afirmou.

Desde que subiu ao profissional, Léo Santos participou de 20 jogos e marcou um gol. Os outros zagueiros do elenco são: Henrique (titular), Pedro Henrique (vinha sendo titular), Marllon e Vilson (não atua desde o ano passado).

Shahid Afridi, the Pakistan allrounder, has said that he may consider retiring from ODI cricket to give selectors a chance to build a strong, young team for the 2015 World Cup being held in Australia and New Zealand. Afridi struggled, with both bat and ball, in the ODI series against Sri Lanka, scoring just 28 runs from four innings and picking up three wickets.He said that he would reassess his future after the team returned home from Sri Lanka in mid-July. “People expect a lot from senior players, so I must sincerely review my performance [in ODI cricket],” Afridi told ESPNcricinfo. “I want to step aside for new players [to come through], so that Pakistan can build a good team for the 2015 World Cup. But I must, first, check if anyone is ready to take my place in the team, so that my retirement won’t be unfair to the team.”Afridi, who was dismissed for scores of 2, 17, 0 and 9 in the ODIs against Sri Lanka, said that even if he retired from ODI’s, he would still continue playing the Twenty20 format. “[I had decided that] the day I became a burden to cricket I would walk away [from the game]. I am considering [whether or not to retire from ODIs] and would consult some senior players and friends before making a decision. But even if I retire from ODI’s I will continue to play Twenty20 cricket.”Pakistan were shoddy in the field, in the ODI’s, with several dropped catches and missed run-out opportunities, allowing Sri Lanka to gain the upper hand. Afridi attributed the 3-1 series loss to poor fielding. “Fielding has been our weakness ever since I started playing cricket,” he said. “We didn’t play as we expected, but Sri Lanka were strong in their own conditions. They used the conditions very well.”In the past Afridi had announced his retirement on a number of occasions. First, in 2006, he decided to take a temporary sabbatical from Test cricket to concentrate on ODIs. Then in 2010, he announced his Test retirement after Pakistan lost the first Test against Australia at Lord’s.
