In just 12 appearances for United this season, the creative talent has already bagged four goals and laid on a further six assists for his teammates, highlighting his importance to the side after a tremendous 2020/21 campaign in which he scored 28 goals and set up another 17.

His influence doesn’t stop there. As per WhoScored, Fernandes has averaged 3.3 shots and 3.9 key passes per league game so far in 2021/22, placing him in the top three amongst his teammates for both metrics.

Therefore, Solskjaer will be desperately hoping that the former Sporting Lisbon ace makes a full recovery in time for the visit of Jurgen Klopp’s men, providing United with the best possible chance of securing all three points.

The Lowdown: Paratici era in full swing…

Since the appointment of new managing director Fabio Paratici in the summer, Tottenham have been linked to a host of players as the Italian transfer chief aims to guide them into a new era.

The Verdict: Really necessary?

While the 27-cap Turkey international stands out as a great player in France, with expert Adam White calling him ‘talented’ and ‘consistent’, he arguably isn’t a necessity at this point.

Emerson’s signing, not to mention the versatility of Japhet Tanganga who can operate as a right-back, provides plenty of depth for Nuno Espirito Santo in that area – and that’s not even taking into account the presence of Matt Doherty.

Celik, once reportedly ‘favoured’ by Jose Mourinho when he was in charge at N17, could be one for future seasons but Tottenham are far better served prioritising other positions at the moment.

كشفت تقارير عن تفاصيل عرض مانشستر يونايتد للتعاقد مع البرازيلي كاسيميرو لاعب وسط ريال مدريد الإسباني.

ويبدو أن البرازيلي يستعد لغلق صفحته مع ريال مدريد واتخاذ خطوة جديدة في مسيرته الكروية خلال الساعات المقبلة.

ووفقًا للصحفي فابريزو رومانو، سيرسل مانشستر يونايتد عرضًا رسميًا لشراء كاسيميرو الليلة من أجل إغلاق الصفقة يوم الجمعة.

رسوم الصفقة تبلغ 60 مليون يورو ثابتة، و10 ملايين يورو إضافات، لذلك من المتوقع أن يقبل ريال مدريد في الساعات القادمة. 

عقد كاسيميرو مع مانشستر يونايتد سيكون ساري حتى يونيو 2026 بالإضافة إلى خيار لموسم إضافي.

كما أفادت صحيفة “ذا أثليتك” أن راتب كاسيميرو سيصل إلى 350 ألف جنيه إسترليني في الأسبوع.
