Speaking in a football.london Q&A, reliable correspondent Alasdair Gold has dropped a behind the scenes Tottenham Hotspur transfer claim involving Fabio Paratici.

As explained, the journalist believes that he has already commenced work in north London on outgoings as Spurs attempt to bolster Tottenham’s finances for possible signings this summer.

“Paratici is working already on potential transfers out to create funds for signings,” Gold stated when asked if Spurs have deals lined up and ready to go.

“The good thing about a director of football structure is that it creates the continuity and the squad and the head coach comes in to coach that.

“Of course certain players can be tailored to different types of head coaches but ultimately you choose a head coach that fits the club and target rather than randomly going after contrasting managers – yes, exactly as Tottenham have done this summer.”

The Verdict: Good news…

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, Spurs will need to adopt a sell-to-buy policy and operate within their means.

News of Paratici’s immediate hustle behind the scenes will come as a boost for the club given the transfer window is now open and Tottenham will want to operate as quickly as possible.

The priority, of course, is appointing a new manager at N17 but laying the groundwork for summer deals is arguably just as crucial.

Spurs ended up finishing seventh last season in what was a disappointing campaign and supporters will be hoping Paratici can build the foundations for a much stronger 2021/2022, regardless of who leads the side from the dugout.

But, despite the stuttering nature of the play, the Victorians still managed to make their way in sound fashion to a score of 3/215 by stumps.The start was delayed by nine minutes and, perhaps a little surprisingly given the gloomy conditions, Victoria elected to bat first.Openers Jason Arnberger (90) and Matthew Elliott (27) made a strong start, building a seventy-four run partnership in the first half of the day. The New SouthWales attack worked to contain them initially, speedsters Nathan Bracken (0/39) and Stuart Clark (2/46) failing to make any early inroads. It was evident from theoutset that pace bowlers were going to struggle in the damp conditions.It wasn’t until the afternoon session that the first wicket was taken. And even then, it was only by means of what must have been the faintest of touches from the batof Elliott as he nibbled at a ball spun away from him by off spinner Anthony Clark (1/52) in the twenty-fifth over.Not to be intimidated, the Victorians dusted themselves off, brought in Matthew Mott (18) and set about steadily racking up the runs again.Mott, too, was eventually undone by a catch from debutant wicketkeeper Nathan Pilon – filling in as a replacement for Indian tourist Brad Haddin – after he pushedtentatively at a delivery from Stuart Clark that was angled across him.In the sixty-sixth over, probably the most crucial wicket of the day fell, Arnberger caught by Shane Lee in the slips. The wet weather tended to limit his abilities to gain grip on the ball and to impart significant spin. أفادت تقارير صحفية أن نادي باريس سان جيرمان يفكر في إمكانية التعاقد مع لاعبنا الدولي المصري، محمد صلاح، قائد منتخب مصر وجناح ليفربول بسبب الفرنسي كيليان مبابي جناح الفريق.

كيليان مبابي عقده مع باريس سان جيرمان ينتهي في نهاية الموسم الجاري 30 يونيو، والنجم الفرنسي لا يرغب في البقاء إذ يريد الانتقال إلى صفوف ريال مدريد.

وتوجد شكوك حول إمكانية استمرار محمد صلاح في ليفربول، حيث يمتلك المصري عقدًا ينتهي بعد عام ونصف، في 30 يونيو 2023، والدولي المصري لم يتوصل إلى اتفاق حتى الآن بشأن التوقيع على عقد جديد.

ليفربول يريد الإبقاء على صلاح في “آنفيلد”، وكذلك مو حريص على البقاء، ولكن يوجد خلاف بين الطرفين حول الراتب، إذ يرغب هداف ليفربول في الحصول على 400 ألف جنيه إسترليني أسبوعيًا، ولكن وصيف الدوري الإنجليزي يرفض ذلك لعدم كسر سقف الرواتب داخل النادي.

برشلونة يرغب بشكل قوي في التعاقد مع محمد صلاح واقترب من بيئته إذ يرغب في مغادرة ليفربول لكونه لا يحظى بالتقدير الكافي؛ وفقًا لما ذكرته صحيفة “سبورت” الكتالونية.

وقالت الصحيفة في تقريرها إن باريس سان جيرمان يرغب بقوة في التعاقد مع صلاح في ظل إصرار مبابي على الرحيل، مُشيرة إلى أن انتقال مو إلى النادي الكتالوني سيكون لأغراض رياضية وليس من أجل المال.

وأضافت أن ليفربول يرفض بيع صلاح رغم أن لم يتبق على نهاية عقده إلا عام واحد فقط، مع وجود موافقة من جانب مو على الانتقال إلى برشلونة مؤكدة أن ظهور باريس سان جيرمان يُعقد كل شيء.

وزعمت أن إدارة باريس سان جيرمان اتصلت بالفعل بحاشية صلاح، إذ يراه النادي كمرشح مثالي ليحل محل مبابي، حيث سيحاول النادي الباريسي إغراء ليفربول وصلاح لإبعاده عن برشلونة أو أي منافس آخر.

واختتمت تقريرها قائلة إن برشلونة يعرف وضع صلاح جيدًا ولن يفعل أي شيء مجنون، حيث لا يفكر النادي الكتالوني في كسر سياسة الرواتب داخل النادي.

أكد بيب جوارديولا، المدير الفني لمانشستر سيتي أن حسم الفوز أمام فريق مثل ليفربول أمر شبه مستحيل، وأفاد أنه مع الفرص المهدرة من جانب فريقه شعر وكأنه ترك الريدز على قيد الحياة، بعد تعادل الفريقين.

وتعادل ليفربول مع مانشستر سيتي بهدفين لمثلهما، على ملعب “الاتحاد” في منافسات الدوري الإنجليزي الممتاز، مع اعتلاء فريق جوارديولا لجدول ترتيب البريميرليج بفارق نقطة عن فريق يورجن كلوب.

جوارديولا تحدث في مؤتمر صحفي عقب المباراة وفي تصريحات لشبكة “بي بي سي”، و”سكاي سبورتس”.

وقال جوارديولا: “هذا ما هو عليه الوضع، كان الأمر شبه مستحيل أمام هذا الفريق، عليك أن تلعب هذه الأنواع من المباريات، ما زلنا في صدارة الجدول لذلك لدينا شعور بأننا فقدنا فرصة كبيرة، ولكن هناك العديد من المباريات المتبقية”.

وأفاد مدرب مانشستر سيتي: “أنا سعيد حقًا بالطريقة التي لعبنا بها، لعبنا بشكل جيد في الشوط الأول، كان الأمر صعبًا لمدة 10 دقائق في الشوط الثاني، لكن هذا أمر طبيعي عندما تستقبل هدفًا، لديهم جودة وهناك الكثير من التهديدات، لكننا أدينا بشكل جيد، إنها كرة القدم وهذه الأشياء تحدث”.

وعن المباراة والأداء من الفريقين، علّق المدرب الإسباني: “لقد كانت مباراة رائعة حيث كان الفريقان يحاولان الفوز، لسوء الحظ لم نفز، ليفربول يسعدني مشاهدته مع كل التهديدات التي يشكلها مهاجموه في خط الهجوم، لقد قدمنا أداءً جيدًا وأنا فخور جدًا بفريقي”.

وشدد مدرب مانشستر سيتي: “قدمنا أداءً جيدًا بشكل لا يصدق، يعرف كلا الفريقين أنه مع بقاء سبع مباريات يجب أن نفوز بها جميعًا، سنلعب من أجل ذلك”.

وأفاد: “في آنفيلد، لعبنا شوطًا أول رائعًا وكانت النتيجة نفسها هنا، كان لدي شعور بأننا أضعنا فرصة الحصول على النقاط الكاملة، هذا لم ينته، سأقول الشيء نفسه مع الهزيمة والانتصار، ونحن نعرف ما علينا القيام به”.

جوارديولا امتدح لاعبي فريقه مؤكدًا: “جابرييل جيسوس يستحق أن يلعب كثيرًا لأنه شخص رائع؛ جوندوجان وفرناندينيو وأليكس زينشينكو، اليوم ، نظرًا للجودة التي يتمتعون بها، اعتقدنا أنه يمكننا إيجاد مساحة مع هؤلاء اللاعبين، ربما نغير الطريقة السبت المقبل”.

وحول ما إذا كانت مباراتا ليفربول في الدوري الإنجليزي هذا الموسم هي الأفضل في مسيرته التدريبية، أجاب جوارديولا: “لا، لدي قائمة طويلة يا صديقي”.

وأتم: “يجب أن أراجع المباراة، لكن كان لدي شعور بأنها كانت فرصة ضائعة للتغلب عليهم، شعرت أننا تركناهم أحياء”.
